Brian K Patrick

Brian K Patrick, 59, of Brook, died December 31, 2023, at his home after fighting a long battle with cancer. Brian was born August 31, 1964, the son of the late Ortie and Nettie (Hopkins) Patrick in Valparaiso, IN. Brian met and married Marcia in 1992 and they remained together the rest of his days. He was a maintenance mechanic at Nucor for 26 years until his retirement.

Brian was known to his family and friends for his love of classic Camaros, being a frequent fisherman and an avid gun collector. Residents of Brook often saw him driving his "toys" around town and he loved talking about them with anyone who would listen. His foul-mouthed sense of humor and laugh had a way of welcoming everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Carl. He leaves behind his wife Marcia (Taylor) Patrick, his children Kennedy, Branden (Jess), Kelsey and Keegan, grandchildren, Brooklynn Rae, Brooklynn Marie, Braelynn, Cash, Calla, Jace and Joey, and his brother Arlen (Trudi) all of Brook.

Brian is being cremated, and per his wishes there will not be a service.
