Donald Raphael Glenn, 76, passed away July 19th, 2024. He was a beloved father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Don was born August 5th, 1947 in Rensselaer, IN and spent his formative years growing up in Morocco, IN. He graduated from the old Morocco High School in 1965 and went on to serve his country in Vietnam as a medic in the Army. He would eventually meet and marry Phyllis Askew, and begin work for the railroad, as they went on to start their family. After some years, Donald went back to school to study to become a plumber which he worked as until retirement.
Don enjoyed woodworking and searching yard sales and flea markets for antique tools. Both he and wife Phyllis were avid readers and into bird watching, with multiple bird feeders. More than anything, Don was a devoted father. He loved spending time with his children and spent his life trying to help them in the best ways that he knew how.
Don was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn, mother-in-law Ruth Conner and father-in-law Wilbur Conner, wife Phyllis, sister Shirley Ann, and sister-in-law Roberta Scolley.
Don is survived by his daughter, Erin (Jonathan) Joaquin, son, David (Stephanie) Glenn as well as grandson, Trevor Hackleman. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 1-2pm (CST) Wednesday, July 24, 2024 with Memorial Service to follow at 2pm all held at the funeral home. Interment will follow service at Oakland Cemetery, Morocco, IN with Mary K. Emmrich officiating.
