Elpidio Martinez

Elpidio Martinez, 100, of Ambia, died May 2, 2024.   He was born July 11, 1923, the son of Juan Martinez and Francisca Orosco in San Luis Potosi, MX.  Elpidio will be remembered as a hardworking farm laborer that loved and provided well for his children.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Tomasa (Briano Martinez and his parents.  He leaves behind ten children: Joel (Gume) Martinez, Graciela (Milo) Cantu, Mario(Lynn) Martinez, Jerardo (Edna) Martinez, Frances (Juan) Torres, Maria Luisa Martinez, Samuel (Marie) Martinez, Eduardo Martinez, Isabel ( Juan) Sepulveda and Elizabeth (Hector) Zamora, 36 grandchildren, more than 68 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service visitation will be held at 5pm EST Wednesday, May 8, 20024 followed by a visitation until 7 P.M. EST at the funeral home. Service will be officiated by Pastor Joel Martinez.   Memorials may be made to Living Word of God Christian Church, Boswell, IN.
