Joyce A. Wallpe

Joyce A Wallpe, 82, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Aug 14, 2024. Joyce was the daughter of Andrew and Leona Wallpe, born December 14, 1941. She attended St. Mary grade school in Dunnington, IN, and St Francis HS in Mishawaka, IN. 

Joyce retired from the Benton Co. retirement village after years of service, cooking, cleaning and showing her kind heart to all. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, hanging out at the community center, water colors, needle work and loving her dog.

 She is survived by her children Barbara (Anthony) Morin and Bob (Jodi) Burton. Grandchildren: Sarah, CJ and Tyler Carton, Jake and Justin Burton, and Connor Treado. She is survived by her brothers, Max (Wilma) Wallpe, Dan (Joyce) Wallpe. sister, Andrea Wallpe and sister in-law, Norma Wallpe. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her daughter, Brenda Carton, her brother, Fred Wallpe and sister, Mary Jane Wallpe. 

Visitation will be from 9am-11am (EST), Monday, 19, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Earl Park. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM (EST) with burial immediately after at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Fowler, IN with Fr. Sean Aaron officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fowler Community Center or a charity of your choice.
