Lana Lou Strasburger, 69, of Russellville, passed away January 23, 2024 at the home of her niece with family by her side. She was born November 15, 1954 in Lafayette to the late Louis and Dorothy (Brost) Strasburger.
Lana graduated from Benton Central High School. She worked many years at Russellville Stone Quarry and retired from Hanson Aggregates in Greencastle.
Surviving are: sister, Marie Muller of Earl Park, brothers, Wayne (Lynn) and Howard (Marlene), both of Earl Park, sister-in-law, Sharon Strasburger of Crawfordsville and special niece, Tanya (Heath) Burton of Earl Park. Lana is also survived my many nieces and nephews whom she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Carol & Greg Butler, brother, Dennis Strasburger, niece, Michelle Butler and nephew, John Butler.
Lana loved spending time and traveling with family and many dear friends whom she considered family.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm (EST), Saturday, January 27, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Earl Park. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00pm (EST) with Mons. Sell officiating. Interment thereafter at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Earl Park. Family requests casual attire.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Russellville Volunteer Fire Department, Russellville Community Center or Earl Park Fall Festival.
