Loretta Jean (Bell) Haynes, “Blondie” 80 of Fowler, passed away on Tuesday December 24, 2024. Loretta was born on May 31, 1944, in Fowler to the late William “Ed” and Martha (Garrett) Bell. She graduated from Fowler High School and worked many years with Denny and Linda McCallian, “Denny’s Pharmacy”. Served as bartender at Peno’s, Uptown Bar and 100 Mile House. She also worked at BP gas station for many years before she retired.
Loretta is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Jr.) Muthig, Debra Haynes and son, Terry Haynes. Her sisters, Ruth “Ree” Mobley, Pat Glotzbach, and brother, Roger Bell. Grandma to, John (Molly) Childers, Lauren Muthig and Cody Haynes. Great-grandma to, Jaedyn Yates, Ariah and Bryce Haynes and Misty Jane Childers.
Preceded in death by: granddaughter, Misty Anne Muthig, Jessica Haynes and great-granddaughter, Saige Young, sister, Betty Sloan and brothers, Billy, Bob, Doug and Albert Bell.
Loretta loved spending time with her family, making flower arrangements and doing word puzzles. Also loved “Elvis” and watching western movies.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM (EST), and Tuesday morning 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 11:00 AM EST all held at Fowler United Methodist Church.. Burial will follow at Fowler Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family or Fowler United Methodist Church (FUMC).
