Patricia J. "Pat" Keith

Patricia J. Keith (Pat, Grandma Pat, Aunt Pat), age 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, March 7, 2025 at her home, Five Star Residences of Lafayette.  Pat was born on December 20, 1928 in Keego Harbor, MI to the late Ivan B. Stiff and the late Inez (Terrell) Stiff.  Pat spent most of her life in Fowler, IN.

On January 2, 1945, Pat married Marvin Keith, he preceded her in death.  She was a member of Fowler United Methodist Church. Her proudest accomplishment was her three children. Pat was a stay-at-home mom until her youngest child started school. She, then, starting working for Horner-Waldorf plant. She began her career on the factory floor and soon pursued additional education. She achieved a higher position in the office as payroll clerk. She retired at age 74.

Pat is survived by; her three children, Sherry Keith of Lafayette, IN, Carol (Steve) Messman of Lacey, WA, John (Amy) Keith of Lafayette, IN; grandchildren; Jason (Crystal) Messman of Spokane, WA, Justin (Lokahi) Messman of Vancouver, WA, Sam Keith of Nagoya Japan, Joe Keith of Silverdale, WA; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Messman, Noah Messman, Dylan Messman, Kylee (Corrigan) Wilson, Jeremiah Messman; siblings, Pam Shuler of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Tom (Judy) Stiff of Houston, TX. 

She was preceded in death by; her husband, Marvin Keith; parents, Ivan and Inez Stiff; daughter, Nancy Keith.

Visitation will be held from 10:00AM to 11:00AM (EDT) until the funeral hour at 11:00AM (EDT) on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the Fowler United Methodist Church, 908 E. 12th St., Fowler, IN 47944, with Reverend Mary van Wijk officiating.  Interment will follow at Remington Cemetery in Remington, IN.
