Sherri Lynn (Penny) Spurgeon

Sherri Lynn (Penny) Spurgeon, 67, of Brook, died December 10, 2022.  Sherri was born July 31, 1955 the daughter of, the late, Earl and Marcella (Hough) Penny in Rensselaer.  She then married Mark Spangler July 14, 1973 and after divorce, she then married, the late, Jack Spurgeon June 26, 1983.  Sherri retired from the George Ade Memorial Healthcare in 2015.  She will always be remembered as a hard worker and remarkable cook.  Sherri is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, parents and brother, Bob Penny.  She leaves behind daughter, Taylor Spurgeon, sisters, Toni (Jim) White and Susan Penny, sister in-law, Shirley Penny all of Brook, brother, Jeff (Gina) Penny of Kentland. The family will have a private service.  Memorials may be made in her honor to the Humane Society or a charity of choice.
