Originally from Pennsylvania, G. David Keller left to join the U.S. Air Force in 1989. He served during the first Gulf War and earned the Air Force Achievement Medal, among other accomplishments.
After his time in the military, David moved to Knoxville, TN, where he started his apprenticeship in funeral service. He attended Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA, in 1993 and went back to the Knoxville area to manage funeral homes.
In 1995, he was recruited to manage a facility in Memphis, TN, and he became self-employed in 1999 as the owner of the largest sub-contracting agency in the south.
Subsequently, he started a funeral home as well as a crematory, flower shop, and cremation society.
David remained in Tennessee until he sold all the businesses to start a slower pace as a “small-town funeral director.” He moved to Indiana to buy some funeral homes and became the proud owner of Gerts, Windler & Keller Funeral Homes & Cremation Services in Brook, Fowler, and Goodland, IN, as well as Shelby & Keller Funeral Homes in Covington, IN.
His goal is to be dedicated to personal family service and not be a conglomerate or factory. It was obvious to him that if he had more than one funeral home, I could compete with the large corporations and still be very active in his business. The economy of scale also allowed him to give the most compassionate pricing...GUARANTEED!
David is a certified cremationist, funeral director, and embalmer who always tries to stay active in his community while always giving back to those who help sustain his locally-owned business.

Bill and Cindy enjoy spending time with their 4 children and 6 grandchildren. They have two dogs, Chloe and Ollie. The couple attends St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kentland.
